1. Copyright
Unless a buyout is agreed in writing, Motion Import retains copyright in all photographs and video it creates. You receive a license to use the final delivered files as described below once your invoice is paid in full.
2. Standard business license
Included with Mini Session, monthly plans and most design packages. It allows non exclusive, perpetual use of final images for your own business's marketing, including your website, social media, email, printed materials and in store displays.
3. Commercial and extended licenses
Included with Signature Shoot (commercial) and Full Day Campaign or Brand + Shoot (extended). These add paid advertising, packaging, billboards and use by retail partners or distributors to promote your products.
4. What the license does not allow
- Selling, sublicensing or transferring images to third parties as stock
- Entering images into contests or claiming authorship
- Use by other businesses not named on the agreement
- Editing that significantly alters images in a way that misrepresents our work
5. Credits
Photo credit ("Photo: Motion Import Corporation") is appreciated on editorial and social use but not required for standard marketing.
6. Brand identity files
For logo and identity projects, ownership of the final approved logo and brand assets transfers to you upon full payment. Fonts and stock elements remain subject to their own licenses.
7. Buyouts
Full copyright transfers and exclusive licenses can be quoted on request.
